This footage was captured for my Digital Visual Arts class. The subject I am looking at is how birds fit in our modern world. Houses, cars, 2hr parking zones, pedestrians and dogs don't bother birds too much....cat are abit of another story I guess. My old cats Lackey and Mouzer star in this film I took at my place in Welsh St, Denmark WA around 1993-4. Sound track from Jamdown Vershun mixtape. Includes Redemption Song acoustic guitar number by me (way back then).

Digital Arts update;

This day in Digital Arts was big on movie making and small on GIFs;
Topical to my site project as it turns out
Stuart St surrounds had swamplands about.
A reflection on the nature of progress?
A machine like eye gives it's caress
A simulated memory of billabong
A recorded broadcast of frogs swamp song
 Streets form pattern of a protective cage
and herald the dawn of a new age;

A day in the park;

This video is intended to have an arty feel;
inspired by works I have seen at PICA and videos of Chris Cunningham
(features a fusion of footage I took at the latest exhibition at PICA and my project area Stuart St Reserve).
